Monday
Call me crazy but I sort of like Monday for a girl.
I think it has a pretty sound and good meaning "moon day".
Is it usable?
Which day of the week makes the best name?

This might be my favorite day name regarding sound, but to be honest..I don't like Mondays either. It wouldn't be a possible name for my son or daughter. Regardless of sound, I think it makes sense that all day names be unisex. They're not as girly sounding as certain month names like June, April or May.

I think it has a very polite and mild-mannered vibe to it. Monday seems like such an unpleasant name to use, but to younger generations it might have much more of an appeal. Those cheap little "I hate Mondays XD!!" T-shirts are severely outdated, and extremely tacky. I would only imagine an out of touch, rude millennial to wear these outdated shirts. I feel as if the phrase is falling out of popularity, and I don't imagine it mattering in the future.
But honestly, Sunday is better.

It sounds ok, but count me as one of the people who can’t see past the Monday songs and jokes.
Same
no ...
"I Don't Like Mondays" says it all. Also Monday-morning quarterbacking, Manic Monday... and even mundane which sounds so similar.

Let down once again by my love of classic pop: good song, wonderful group, lousy name!
Monday, Monday
So good to me
Monday mornin', it was all I hoped it would be
Oh Monday mornin', Monday mornin' couldn't guarantee
That Monday evenin' you would still be here with me
Monday, Monday, can't trust that day
Monday, Monday, sometimes it just turns out that way
Oh Monday mornin' you gave me no warnin' of what was to be
Oh Monday, Monday, how could you leave and not take me
Every other day, every other day
Every other day, every other day of the week is fine, yeah
But whenever Monday comes, but whenever Monday comes
But whenever Monday comes, you can find me cryin' all of the time

I personally think Monday is one of the lesser desirable days of the week names because of it's general dislike as the first day back to work after a weekend *insert Garfield I hate Mondays joke here* that said, my favorite weekday name in sound is probably Tuesday followed by Sunday and Wednesday. Saturday, Thursday and Friday just sound too harsh to me.
I like it.
I love Monday’s meaning.
I think Monday is a good name. Nice for a girl born on Monday, lol. I think it’s usable but you’re definitely gonna get some weird looks from other parents. But the name really isn’t that bad.
I also like Sunday, which I kinda prefer. Wednesday is okay but I don’t like it and anything else I don’t like and don’t even see as a name.
