1. If you had twins today (Whatever gender you want), what would you name them?
Sibyl "Billie" and Fe.
2. Would you ever give your first name as a child’s middle name?
Heck yeah!3. If not, what about your middle name as your son/daughters middle name as well?
This is less likely.
4. You are forced to give your son a feminine name, and you daughter a masculine one. What are their names? (You can add a middle name)
Jackie for a boy.
Fontaine for a girl.5. Do you prefer names with history to it or is it completely coincidental?
I love history, but I also like a good modern monstrosity.
6. Does a name not being ‘genuine’ enough bother you?
Not anymore.7. How do you feel about accents with names? Would you ever use a name with one? (Ex: Chloë, Renée, Anaïs.)
Well, I have one, and I enjoy it.8. What do you think of names with different spelling from the original?
OK!9. Do you like nicknames for your child or even yourself? Or do you prefer the full name?
Nicknames are fun. No sense getting worked up over them, they are inevitable.
10. Has the pandemic changed your taste in names?
What an interesting question! Yes, I think it has helped me become less of a snob, because honestly, who has the energy to judge people anymore? Not me, anyway. 11. You and your partner just chose the name for your child. You both love it and have no doubts in mind. Your entire family hates it. Do you still keep the name?
You better believe it. In fact that just proves it's a fantastic name.12. What is one name that’s popular you actually think deserves it’s time in the light? It can be one for a boy and one for a girl.
Gosh, I don't even know what's popular anymore. But I'll say..... Olivia and Alexander. They are beautiful names, I definitely do get the appeal.
13. What is one baby name tradition or trend that you don’t like? It can be anything.
N/A
14. What (type) name automatically makes you (Or would make you?) lose respect for a parent?
Staid "classics" like John, Elizabeth, Mary, etc.
