If you are of a certain age, yes, you will immediately think of Friends.

A couple of years ago I met someone with a baby Chandler and immediately thought Friends. I think for a long, long time people with think of Friends.

Just another lnfn, which is also an occupation name: lacking in interest and distinction, therefore. I've never thought of 'Friends' in my life, so I can't comment.

I like it. Well, sort of. I didn't hear the name from Friends first, so I'm getting the impression that a large enough group of people wouldn't really think of that either. It's a popular show, but there are many who haven't heard of it, or had interest in it.
If it was pronounced with a C sound, I'd like it a lot more. But it's says with a CH. I like it on males a lot better. I'm neutral on girls using it.

It sounds strangely Dudebro-ish? I'm not sure why though. Any name ending with "er'' sounds a bit hyper-masculine.
