Gerald and Gerard
WDYT about two names. Give some opinions. :)

Dislike both, no particular reason other than the sound isn't pleasant to me.

Gerald isn't bad, but I don't think I'd ever want to use it. If I did, it would be as a mn only, because I really find Gerry (or Jerry) unattractive. I don't enjoy Geraldine for a girl either.
Gerard reminds me pleasantly of Gerard Manley Hopkins; I'd be more likely to use it than Gerald.

I think they're both a bit dated, though I do like Gerald
