Proper star names
What do you think of using proper star names on a person? I would like to name a boy names like Aldebaran, Rigel, Procyon, and Antares, and I also like Algol, Electra, Mimosa, Spica, and Vindemiatrix for girls. This doesn't include names that means stars like Stella or Astra. You can also see the list from Wikipedia: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_proper_names_of_starsP.S: I see Harry Potter characters (Bellatrix, Sirius) are coming

There's some great star names out there, so why not? They're fascinating :)Of course Harry Potter is a bit of an influence on my favorites, like Regulus, Arcturus and Sirius; I also like:
Antares
Altair
Arista
SpicaAlthough Spica I like only for a black cat lol

I could like it on a theoretical level, yes. Depends on the name though

Mimosa is a coffee isn't it? & Spica makes me think of Chai tea

Mimosa is a cocktail drink, and is also the scientific genus of touch-me-not plant. FYI Spica is pronounced as /spaɪkə/

Well astrological study has never been a niche that interested me much tbh. We usually don't use FYI here unless we intend to be short. I wasn't sure your intention.

Sorry, just ignore it. I was writing it with no context at the time lol

I knew an Antares (f). I always thought it was quite beautiful. Some star names are pretty nice.
