Sir Gilles (Paon) de Roet is a little known historical figure I am reading about at the moment. WDYT of Gilles?
Paon de Roet’s father was Jean and his grandfather was Huon. WDYT of Jean and Huon?

Not a fan but don't hate it either.
I like the sound of Gilles, but not the look (English is my first language, and it loos like 'gills').
Don't really like any
I like Gilles and Jean - I'd only consider using them in a French-speaking environment, though! Huon, not so much. I can appreciate Hugues, and in English I like Hugo and Hugh, but Huon looks either random or, possibly, Chinese.
In English, I also like Giles, mn only, and John, which is a family name; probably it's a family name in just about every English-speaking family on the planet but it's still good.
