Sabrina

I really like this name! Around 2019, it was my favorite name. I still have a soft spot for it. Good name.
I like Sabrina. It feels like it has been around, but it isn't dated to just one era. If it had only one famous association, I wouldn't like it as much, but it has been around a bit and has more than one namesake. Multiple greats back, I had an aunt named Sabina, and I think she would have preferred being a Sabrina.
Sabrina Carpenter was a name I didn't recognize, so I Googled her and apparently she's a popular singer. It's starting: I'm not recognizing the names of famous people who are nearly 10 years my junior.
Anyway, her parents had good taste because Sabrina is one of my very favorite names. The Sabrina Fairchild character was what mainly did it for me (and I prefer the 90s movie to the original, actually... though I think we could use an updated adaptation that's closer to the original play). It's elegant but not too heavy.

It's also, or I think it is, Latin for the (English) River Severn. I quite like it for that reason, but not enough to ever use. The busty film starlet image is too powerful.
Tends to be liked by people of Italian backgrounds. Not a fan.
It's ok
