Domenic
Who else hates the Domenic spelling? Do you like the name? What spelling?

Dominic is one of my favorite names, and has been for quite some time.
Dominik is the dominant spelling in some countries; and Dominick I can sort of understand, as it likely relates to a surname.
Domenic looks like it should be pronounced doh-MEN-ik, and is one letter switcheroo off of "demonic." I don't like this spelling at all.

Don't like the spelling, Dominic is ok
I like the name Dominic, but Domenic just looks like a typo or that somebody genuinely didn't know how to spell it imo.
Definitely prefer Dominic or Dominique.
I'm not really a fan of any variation of the name. It's acceptable, but it seems a tad macho.
I mean calling someone "Dom" is a bit much, don't you think? xD

I find it sad that people who choose a name with such an ancient history can ignore that history; perhaps they were mistakenly aiming for a shared derivation with 'domestic', but again, one wonders why.
I like Dominic. Probably not advisable in South Africa, where the Afrikaans word 'dom' means 'stupid' and would be an obvious nn.

I wouldn't say that I hate it, I just far prefer the more typical seen spelling of "Dominic" I like the name itself (yes, preferably with that spelling.) It's one of my favorites.
I was exaggerating about hating it.
Um...okay?
