Re: What are your experiences with your name?
 What is your name? Allana
Do you like your name? Yes.
How popular/rare was your name when you were born? It has never been a common name in the US.
Have you ever been bullied for your name? No. There were other, more exciting and relevant things to bully me over.
Have you ever been able to buy lunch bags, posters, necklaces ect. with your name on without having to personalize them? Never in the US. I did find something in Ireland once, with the more common spelling.
Has your name ever been in any books, movies, tv shows or video games? Yes, but it's rare. One of Ariel's sisters in the Little Mermaid, and more recently in Licorice Pizza.
Do you know anyone else with your name or have you ever met anyone with the same name personally? Yes, in middle school I bonded with another Alana in large part because of our name. However, it is very rare that I meet another Alana.
Have you ever wished you had a different name? As a child, I wished my name was more common. I was jealous of my sister who had the same name as a popular cartoon character; meanwhile my sister hated having the same name as a popular character.
Do you use nicknames? What are your nicknames? Not really. In elementary school, a friend called me Lani on occasion but it never stuck.
Do people misspell your name? Yes: in part because my parents went rogue with the spelling, but also I've gotten all sorts of weird spellings: Alona, Olanna, Uhlana, etc.
