It's the Polish name of Joan of Arc, pronounced yaw-AN-na, so I associate with a quiet, unflinching dignity.
Familiar, but not overused. I like it.
Ehhh... it’s okay. Can’t say I like it though.
It's alright. It's common, but not too uncommon. Very approachable

It's plain but undeniably beautiful and elegant. I think of Meryl Streep's character in Kramer vs. Kramer.
It's beautiful, very nickname able, but I prefer Johanna.

I think it's cute. It's grown up as a full name but it's not heavy or stuffy.
If I wanted to use a nickname for it, I'd pick Jo or Jodi.

I haven't always been keen on it because the only one I knew for a long while was a very cheeky and judgmental girl a few years my junior in the community I grew up in. But since that time I've had a few more positive influence and exposures to the name so it's helped significantly. I'd even daresay it's in the realm of possible future middle name fodder now.
I like it spelled Johanna more but this spelling is cool, Joan is my grandma's name and because I don't like her it ruins the name for me.
