I mostly dislike. It's just blah in my opinion. Winnie is cute for a kid or old lady, not so much for anyone between those two stages of life.
An old family friend of mine is named Honey. She and her husband first became friends with my parents when I was only 18 months old and I had only ever known her as such. She uses it on her Facebook account and everything. She's a retired teacher & all of the other staff referred to her as Honey as well. It wasn't until my 20s that I even found out her legal name was actually Diane hahaha.
To answer your question: I like Winifred. I want it to come back. Winnie and Honey are a bit overpoweringly sweet (pardon the pun) but they have their place I think.

I don't like Honey as a given name but Hunny makes it seem like the greatest name on earth. Hunny is a joke, and a bad one. It would actually be cruel to give a child this name.
Don't like it
