Girls: Individual Names
Summer = Summer...how beautiful is this name and the meaning??? I LOVE it. Its on my list as a middlename...I don't know why!
Mercy = cool name but bad connotations for me. I had a boss called Mercy Divine once (yes it really was her name!) and she was really horrible and fired me *sniff*
Evangeline = my favourite name right now and we're considering it for future bambinas
Lorelei = gorgeous! I really can't answer why this isn't on my list...
Socorro = I've never heard of it before but its stunning

Summer Siena = very nice! I prefer Sienna though
Mercy Evangeline or Mercy Nightingale (still can't choose) Mercy Evangeline definetely!
Socorro Rose = brilliant combo - I love!
Serena Lyriane = Serena has so much strength about it...lovely!
Veronica Bronte = brilliant name. Bronte is so cool and great with being the Bronte sisters' name1

Benedict = I love the nn Ben but for Benjamin
Jedidiah = Jed rules!
Riordan = great Irish name. Me likey!
Archer = so brilliant! I love 'work' names. Archer, Sawyer, Sailor, Hunter, ect
Dashing = cool name but I'd never use it. Its NMS

Sawyer Benedict = great combo. I love Sawyer!
Jedidiah Hawking (nn Jedi or Hawk) = nn Hawk is brilliant!
Luke Whittaker = wow...that is a seriously great name
Owen Brody = such a good combo! Great flow
Fletcher Bowman = very nice. I like it a lot

Summer is on my list because my potential theoretical third daughter (whom Gideon would have been) would be Summer, because 1) it's another S name, carrying on with Scarlett and Sophie (David and the other kids voted that we should carry on with Ss for girls!); 2) I think it's a beautiful meaning, a gorgeous time of year; and 3) our last name is Sands. Yes, Summer Sands, say what thou wilt! Hey, she'd get married one day...
Sorry to hear about Mercy Divine! And Divine is NMS. But I cannot escape how much I love this name and its meaning. Grace and Mercy are said to be God's two greatest gifts to Mankind, and I feel His Grace and Mercy in my life. I don't give a damn how popular they get!
Socorro is a Spanish name that means "succor," as in "help, relief, aid." So it has a lovely meaning, but I mainly just love the sound of it. I first heard it as a name on a patient years ago named Socorro Torres. I have a thing for assonance and alliteration, and this combo of Socorro Rose has it, certainly. Plus Socorro is a reference to Our Lady ("Nuestro Senora de Perpetuo Socorro," or "Our Lady of Perpetual Help," one of Mary's many titles), which is always a plus.
