I like Emily enough to use as a mn. Before it went viral, I would have happily used it as a fn, but not now. Five Emily people, aged about 13-14 and all in the ssame class of 30 can only be a warning! Emily is a family name, but only as a mn: Florence Emily, in the late 19th century. Now, I'd consider Alice Emily.
