I would like Agatha more if I lived somewhere different. As it is, I mostly hear ah-XAH-tah, where the X is like the -ch in loch. Agatha Christie is a good association! Ursula is uncommon here in South Africa; I knew someone whose sister was Ursula, but they pronounced it URSHula and shortened it to Ursh, which I find really, really ugly. I don't mind it in German - I actually prefer Ursel to Ursula - and I suppose they derived it from Uschi, but it just puts me right off.
