Josiah
What's your opinion of Josiah? I hadn't really heard of it / noticed it until my friend mentioned that it's her cousin's name. I looked into it and now I love it; it's one of my current name crushes. But be honest if you don't like it!*LISTEN TO THE MUSTN'TS

I kind of like it. It was my great, great grandpa's name, he was born in 1857.

I have a relative with this name. It suites him quite well. I'm uncertain if the name itself or his personality have shaped my mental image of it though. We've called him "Joey" most of his life and dramatically enunciate Josiah when saying it in full "jo-SIGH-ah!" A handsome name. I'd definitely use it as an honoring middle someday if a son is had.

Actually, I like it because this is a boy's name not for girl, right

It's one of those names that's apparently really popular, yet I've never met anyone with it in my life (then again, I don't know that many babies). I like it.

It's a very nice name. I don't really like Joseph but like the nn Joe, so if I wanted a little Joe, I'd use Josiah.

I’ve always loved this name! It is very biblical but that doesn’t bother me.

I think that either Joseph or Joel would be preferable, given that they'd all probably shorten to Joe (which I like very much). Josiah is more in-your-face biblical than they are, somehow.
