Re: Kids Turning 6
Leah - I like this, it sounds friendly
Connor - Don't like it but I do like Conor
Brielynn - Can't tell how to pronounce this. Could be Bree-lin (brie like the cheese) or Bri-ellen. I like Bree/Bri as a nickname but this whole name seems awkward and contrived. The best I can do is Breelyn or Briellen (like Briallen but not) depending on how they say the "ie".
Ace - Can be a cool nn but boring as a fn
Ryker - Trying too hard, and the trekkie in me would prefer Riker anyway.
Lino - Cute, I hope it's a nickname but I don't mind it as a full name either
Grace - Common but still nice
Amilyah - Looks cool but would always be mistaken for Amelia
Phonso - Sounds silly. I assume it's short for Alphonso? Al, Alfie, and Phonso all sound a little silly to me. Like dogs or muppets.
Brooklyn - Don't like it. It sort of sounds like a "mean girl" name but I've also seen it on so many random kids that it sounds like nothing.
