I think Jennifer is, objectively, a pretty name. It's elegant without being too soft, and has beaucoup nickname potential (but you have to like the "Jen" sound for any of it to work). That said, it was so popular for so long (like Linda and Mary beforehand) that it's on its way to becoming SO dated... that I foresee Guinevere becoming trendy before Jennifer bounces back.
