I like it, and always have, in spite of having been at school with a really dodgy specimen. Where I live, it had a popularity surge but not enough to make it unusably dated. I suppose it is classy; it certainly has a history and people tend to spell it correctly, apart from the occasional Jenifer, and wasn't there a naughty Gennifer who ... oh yes, now I remember. Ahem!
