I have never liked Charlotte: the sound and the appearance are unattractive to me, and the fact that I see the (dated and pejorative, which makes it worse) word 'harlot' inside it does not help at all. And the nns! Charlie, Sharley, Lottie, Lots ... yuck.

I don't mind it as much in French: it sounds better, but it doesn't make the top half of the list there either.
