Hazel
What are your opinions on the name Hazel? I like it a lot. Do you think it would be fine on someone with blue eyes or something?

This is my name and I really like it. I have blueish eyes and so did the only other Hazel I’ve known, so I think that’d be fine
It's funny: as a kid I thought this word was horrendously unattractive (I have hazel eyes, that's the only reason I cared); but as an adult I'm fond of this name. It's one of several nature-names I like, and I don't think the person's physical features ultimately matter - though I do picture a woman with darker blonde hair and somewhat murky eyes when I think of this name.
I absolutely love the name Hazel. It's been in my top favorite list for a while and is my favorite nature name. I would definitely use it in future; I don't find it dated at all. I think of hazel trees, hazel nuts, and some lovely people I know named Hazel. I think it works well on someone regardless of eye color.

Baby eyes tend to be blue unless they're brown. So, if you like Hazel, use it anyway. I don't like it much - Purple Haze is cool but not something I'd want to be reminded of too often, and then there's the astringent, and the Old cartoon Witch. And the nuts.
It feels very old lady-ish. There are better names. Eye color wouldn't matter though.
Very pretty. It’s nearly impossible to predict how someone’s eye colour will change over the course of their life, so it shouldn’t be a factor at all.
Nice, I wouldn't worry about eye colour
