Quinn is ok. Queenie sounds like a name for a small, pampered, and yappy little dog.

Queenie just sounds silly as a name. Quinn is okay.

I used know a Quincy (male) but I really dislike Quinn or Quincy. Queenie just seems cheesy.

Quin is fine as a nn for Quinton. Queenie is over-ambitious.Apart from Quentin as an alternative for Quinton, and Quintus, I can't think of any other male names in English. There is a Muslim journalist here in South Africa named Qaanitah Hunter; she is the political editor for an Internet news channel. I've never heard her name spoken, so I don't know what the Q sounds like.

I like Quinn though more for girls perhaps, Queenie not so much. The only name starting with Q I can think of is Quentin.

Queenie doesn't really appeal to me but I like it in theory for a pet. I've also heard of Quilla but I prefer the pronunciation "quil-ah" over "kill-ah" significantly

I like Quinn on both genders.
Queenie sounds like a nickname. Queenie is not my style.

I find them quite cute, but, in my humble non-anglophone opinion, they both sound feminine. I know about their etymology, but it's still hard to imagine Quinn on a guy. Maybe because I've never met one, but I've heard about Quinn on a girl. So, yeah...
I also quite like quirky Quill, Quirina and Quiteria.
