Lili
Thoughts? Does this spelling remove its floral identity?

Lili is nice, though I prefer Lily or even Lillie. Absolutely still reminds me of the flower though, there’s no escaping it.

I think it looks very European perhaps French or Spanish. It’s rather pretty but as an English speaker I prefer the Lily or Lilly spelling. It’s much better than Lillie though.

It looks incomplete. No, it does not remove the floral element.

Looks French.I kinda think it seems too light or babyish, as a full name, because it's got that repeated-syllable thing going on, like Coco or Gigi. But would be cute as a nick.I think it removes the floweriness a bit, yeah - and looks nicer than Lilly, by far.
But I think names are mostly heard rather than read, so I'm not sure it makes a huge difference.

I've never seen it used in English. Lily, yes; Lilli, as a nn for Elizabeth, yes. Would you want to remove the floral identity, or would you rather keep it?

Yeah I want to remove it. I like the sound of the name, but I just don't really like the flower

I understand that it's a conventional spelling in some countries e.g. Armenia, Slovenia, Hungary.
But Lili ends so abruptly... And I just got used to Lily and even Lillie, so they look more complete, prettier, imho.
