My first thought was a typo of Harold and my second was that pronunciation probably sounds a lot like too old.

I think it's great! I almost wish it was my name.
I hear it mostly like Torrence and a bit like Harold.

I think it's cute. And nn Tor isn't bad, a bit better than Thor in English.
I'd like Torald a little more, because I don't tend to say the word "old" so much when I say it.

It's an interesting name and spelling, indeed; for some reason the word 'strong' comes to mind.
Thor/Tor names (e.g. Torvald, Torill, Tora, Tuva), often catch my attention.

Ooh. Interesting. I quite like it. Thorold would look more complete to me though.

I'm not really a fan of this name. It is unique, though. I will give it that.
