Re: If you had Quadruplets, what would you name them?
in reply to a message by Guest
Wow I totally hate your girls' names! They both gave me carsickness after such quick veering inharmoniously between styles. Casey Seraphine... my gosh, outstandingly bad! Well done. And neither name is actually wretched on its own. I like Seraphine a lot, and Casey is just a mediocre 90s name. I think part of it is the hissing between the S-vowel-S in both names. I don't always hate hissing, but it makes these corners awfully sharp. Like I said, carsick.ETA Cassia Sloane is outstanding too. Like, Cassia is this beautiful, elegant little dress, cosmopolitan, expensive but not too showy, meticulously chosen, hair styled with it and everything, and then someone comes up and pours an entire really cheap beer all over it as soon as she walks into the party. Sidney Matthew is pretty cool. Thomas Jacob is kind of like those sister Schubert rolls from thanksgiving getting colder in my fridge.I know you didn't ask for opinions, but it's an opinions board, and I had 'em.Now *I* have to name quads too? Gosh let's see. I'm going to be inspired by you and try to mesh extremely different styles. You tell me if you get carsick.Xanthe Jessica
Orla Vanessa
Dorian Sawyer
William Draven

I actually kind of like William Draven, it sounds like it could belong to a poet. I've also never heard the names Dorian or Xanthe, maybe I'll add them to my character naming repertoire. No carsickness here! :)

What about Cassia Seraphine and Casey Sloane instead?

Actually, I like both of those a lot better. Seraphine is like a perfect silver or green scarf with Cassia. And I actually like Casey and Sloane a lot more together than as individuals.

I, personally, am starved for drama.

Oh no. I rather like them.

Xanthe Jessica is great. Xanthe Vanessa is even greater.

Is it bad if I think Dorian Sawyer and William Draven actually sounds quite good? Neither are combos I'd use though, but they certainly doesn't make me carsick which Xanthe Jessica and Orla Vanessa does.

I like William Draven too. It has a mildly gothic feel to it like a black waist coat with a pocket watch chain hanging out. Dorian Sawyer is okay, but it is more strongly blending too separate styles. Urban emo meets good natured country boy - they might actually be better together.

I certainly wouldn't use Draven or Sawyer either, but I was trying to make good combos, so I'll take the compliment!
