Re: Doris
It’s definitely old-fashioned and dated. With that being said: I don’t like it. On a scale from 1-10 it’s a 2 for me. Funnily enough the show I just watching (The Partridge Family), there was a fiancée named Doris. I don’t mind old-fashioned names. Eleanor, Ruth, Margaret, Mildred, Helen, Dorothy, Gladys, none of them really. Doris is just kinda ugly. I don’t know if it’s the D at the beginning then the ‘is’ part at the end together, but it just sounds kinda wack. I can appreciate the etymology a little, but there is nothing I like about this name. I would get into depth, but I don’t feel like being to harsh today._______________________________________________________
