In Italian we read it with 'ch' instead of 'th' as in Spanish but It is a commonly-used name.
I can figure a Luciana as a woman over 40 years old. The name is used by any kind of women but it was more used some decades ago.
I link it with Luciana Litizzetto, a very wit TV presenter and comedian.
I would not use it but I've seen worse names rather than it.
