My mum was away on Tuesday and randomly bumped into an old friend when she was away Myrtle Celestina. WDYT?

Sounds like a character in a 1930s novel. I had a colleague once whose sister was Myrtle; my colleague was worried about her because she didn't seem to know what to do with her life, and always called her Myrt-the-poor-wee-lamb, all one word or close to it. We accepted this, until one day we met her and found that she was a six-footer if she was an inch. (She worked as a crane driver for a while, and then became a nurse.)I don't enjoy names with an -er- sound. Celestina improves it!

Love them both, apart or together.

Ooh, gorgeous! The names don't really harmonize with each other, but I kind of like that.

I don't like Myrtle, but Celestina is lovely! As a middle or first name. I have to agree with Kaesy though. They don't fit with each other.
How about Myrtle Julianne? Or Mabel Celestina? Well nah, those are kind of discordant too. That woman's parents were dealing with some tricky names! I think that they did their best with that one. Perhaps she was named after two separate people. That might explain the odd pairing.

They're very discordant, though I do actually like each name individually.
