Genevieve & Gabriel - thoughts on this sibset?
This is the winner of my last poll series (by the way, thanks to the people who voted in them).
What do you think of these names? Is it a good pair?
I think they're okay, but a little mismatched because of the etymologies.
ETA: what middle names would you use?

I actually know a pair of siblings named Genevieve (pronounced the French way) and Gabriel. They go by Viv and Gabe. I don't mind that they both start with Gs, given that they're pronounced differently. They're nice names together or apart :)
I knew a family with kids born in the late 80s to mid 90s named Grace, Genevieve and Gabriel, so it just sounds normal to me.
I don't mind the different etymologies, in this case. I don't like Genevieve, so maybe that's why I don't like it with Gabriel? I like Gabriel though.
Gabriel Lucius
Genevieve Tamsin
Something to spice up both names, especially Genevieve.

They work together for me. There is something romantic and slightly Victorian about them as a duo. Very Pre-Raphaelite. I like that they start with different sounds despite having the same initial. The mismatched etymologies is actually nice, imo. It gives them a sense of depth. Sets that are too matchy-matchy have a echo-chamber quality that irks me.
I'd maybe combo them like....
Genevieve Iris & Gabriel Laurence

I like both names, but dislike siblings with the same initials
I love Genevieve but Gabriel I find a little blase since I knew several growing up. I liked Genevieve the most individually of your names in the polls, but as sets I liked a few more preceding ones such as Octavia and Oscar, Veronica & Victor (this one is KILLER imo), Arabella & Ambrose, and Rose & Raphael.
