Lorraine is a great name. It peaked in the US in the 1920s so it's in the 100-year name revival period. I don't think it'll make a comeback now, however, because of the nicknames Lori. Lori was popular as a stand-alone name in the 1960s and is a mom and grandmother name. I like the nickname Raine so maybe that'll appeal to parents
