Without a doubt it seems much stronger than Lily. It does have that going for it. But strong names aren’t really in right now, are they? Even the perennial favorite Katherine has fallen out of favor. Too strong. Not soft enough.

I don't know about that ...Charlotte's a pretty "strong" sounding name to me, and in fact, Evelyn feels that way too. And of course there's Harper, and Brooklyn; Brooklyn pretends to be soft but actually feels hard enough to roller-skate on.

We're definitely in the middle of a trend of the flimsier and more perpetually child-like, the better. (Not all the popular girl names of course but a "decent" percentage)
