Jacqueline is elegant and timeless. Jackie is inevitable as a nn, which would lead me to use Jacqueline as a mn only. I only like the French spelling; once I taught a Jacklyn, which I found unfortunate, though she was a very good learner.

I kinda like it, it's one of those old school names that hasn't aged too badly. Although it was very much a popular/mean girl name in my area.
