Poleigh
I don’t like this spelling at all. I did know a very sweet child in a nursery called Pollyanna about 20 years ago so I do have good a association with the name just not that spelling. What do others think of it?

It took me awhile to realize it was Polly. The spelling is awful. The name is fine.

I too thought it was POLE-ee thus thought it thoroughly made up.

I didn’t even get that it was a variant of Polly at first. I thought it was pronounced “pole-ee”.

I like both Polly and Pollyanna, Poleigh is just weird looking. But for Polly or Pollyanna I would be pleasently suprised if I came across it IRL.

I don't like Poleigh or Polly for that matter. There is a book/movie called Pollyanna. I don't particularly care for either, though.

I'd never think of pronouncing Poleigh like Polly! In fact, I'd never think of using or even seeing it at all. I love Polly and would consider it - it's a family name, but only as a nn so far.Pollyanna would have been charmingly retro, but for the fictional character, who is really too sweet not to be labelled Xylitol.

Hi !!!I like Polly.Pollyanna is too much in my opinion. I dislike Anna. Poleigh? It seems too complex.
