I totally get the comparison in vibe. Millicent is manicured and Mildred is independent. Normally I would go for the latter vibe, but the -dred part bothers me more than the -cent sound. If both end up going by Millie I guess it is moot.

The ending mainly just reminds me in a vague way of Astrid and dreadlocks...and Mordred, but he could be interesting in an anti-hero way...and Eldred, but I had a great-uncle Eldred, and I thought his name was interesting.But yeah, I meant (while they're not super different) Mildred seems more organic and personable to me while Millicent seems kind of cold and angular. Plus Mildred always makes me think of autumn leaves, maybe because I see 'mild red' in it unconsciously.
