Lennon
In honor of John Lennon’s birthday. (And his son Sean’s too!) I must ask: What are your opinions on the name Lennon? Do you find it to be unisex?_______________________________________________________

I do think it works well as a name, I like the sound of it and Lenny makes a cute nn. I much prefer it for a boy though, it sounds a little masculine to me for a girl.

My first crush!I like that it means Lover. I'm not a huge fan of it as a name. Such a statement. I guess it's unisex?

Don't like it, and definitely not for a girl

I actually like Lennon, it's a bit of a guilty pleasure for me. It sounds masculine, but I also like it on a girl: I think it's pretty unisex. The nickname Lenny is cute. For some reason, the name Lennon reminds me of lions and bravery. Maybe because Lennon sounds like "lion"; maybe because Lenny is often short for Leonard which means "brave lion"; maybe because when I was little I had a cuddly toy lion named Lenny. Probably a combination.*

It's kind of nerdy and weird, which is why I really, really love this name. I think it's so cute and has a lot of character.
