Everett vs. Merrick
Which one for a boy, and why?
What would you use as a middle name?
**After supposedly dying on January 30, 2007 after eating tainted pancakes, she returned several times as an angel and was revealed to be alive on May 17, 2011. )**

Both nice enough names. Sharp, modern, not disruptively so. I like Everett better. It's so damn SHARP and the -rrick of Merrick confuses me a little, so much momentum with such a hard slam at the end.
Everett Clark is the combo du jour

Merrick.
I'd consider Everett. I say it with 2 syllables. I think it's very well liked, while Merrick isn't so well liked, it's dorkier. But, there's that nearby city Everett, and it's just not as much my style of a name. Merrick is a forever favorite of mine, and Everett I just noticed liking recently and have not even added to favorites.

I pronounce Everett with 3 syllables
Merrick. It’s close to Merit/Merritt, which is a name I like, and Everett is the name of a city very close to where I live, so it would feel weird to name a kid that. (Plus the city doesn’t have the greatest rep.)
I’d name him Merrick Arthur, I think.

It's Merrick, not Maverick.
