Blade (Names that don't fit)
I saw this on a 'starting school' photo in our local paper yonks ago and thought, 'bit of a strong/loaded/thuggish name for a little kid' then last week I saw a kid around 12 having an argument with his younger sister and heard
Parent: 'Blade, what happened! Blade?'
B:'She hit me!'
Sister: Liar liar!
B: She did!Talk about a name not fitting someone (and I'm kind of glad it doesn't) He seemed sweet/harassed. Im also pretty sure it is the same kids from that starting school photo, which was surreal.Have you ever come across a name on someone that very blatantly doesn't fit?:0)'Formerly KatjaEidisMy PNL is now rateable!:

The most polite and respectful little boy I've ever met... was named Storm. He was the exact opposite of his name, it was surreal. It's actually one of the reasons I try to avoid virtue names (even though one of my favorites, Felicity, is technically a virtue name). The bearer is almost guaranteed to be the opposite: Joy is a grump, Patience is restless, Amity is standoffish, Honor lies, Grace... has none. You get the idea.

Every Joy I've known has been singularly joyless - either lacking in all emotions or angry and resentful.

The one Joy I've known has been kind but your reply has just made me realise I've only ever met one.:0)
