Alfred

The nickname Fred or Freddie is appealing but I much prefer Fredrick in order to achieve it. Alfred still feels very old man-ish and hadn't made the "full circle" yet. Probably because I still know a few living old men named Alfred. It gives me similar vibes as Eugene or Wilfred. Not completely untouchable but still not the greatest at this time. I may change my mind in 10 years though.
Edit: forgot to include what I would name a brother and sister. Hmmm... Alfred, Emmett and Cora. That feels about right.

Don't like it at all, maybe as a mn if an honour name
I think it is acceptable but not my favourite. It would be a good cat name.
I like it because of an actor I admire and a book character I love who went by Freddie, but I find it difficult to see it on a child/teenager. I dislike the nickname Alfie.
Edit to add middle names and siblings.
Alfred George
Alfred Clay
Alfred Laurence
Alfred Cecil
Alfred Simon
Alfred & Clotilda
Alfred & Carlotta
Alfred & Philothea
