Mercy

Very beautiful name. Disnt really appreciate it until recently. I would use it to honor my Grandmother Lamercie.
I'm pretty fond of it, definitely one of my favorite virtue names. I'd use Honor before it, but that's because DH vetoed Mercy anyway.
I don't like it
That -er- sound is such a total turn-off! I far prefer Clemency.
It isn't my favorite of the virtue names but it is mostly harmless. The only hinderence being that there may be teasing potential for a person such as this because "Mercy!" or "have Mercy!" is a stereotypical exclamation during intimacy in pop culture. Of the virtue names I generally prefer Faith, Joy, Hope, Grace, Clarity, Felicity, Fidelity, Serenity, Courage (M), Honor (M), Honora / Annora, Harmony, Essence, Cherish, Gallant (M), Liberty, Merit, Noble (M), Perseverance, Rememberance, Promise, Tranquility, True, Truly, Valiant (M), Valor (M), Concord, Virtue, Wisdom, Charity, Charisma, Prosper (M), Unity
I also somewhat like Chasity / Chastity even though stereotypically... people sometimes consider it a "stripper" name, plus the implications & burdens of a name that would mean "purity", but I do sort of like the sound of it in a weird way, it'd be pretty low on the list though.
