Lauren vs. Hannah
Which would you choose and why? What would you use as a middle name?

I'd choose Lauren because I think it's prettier and the sounds are more interesting.
As a MN... anything but Elizabeth. Umm. I'll pick Lauren Xanthe to enhance the Greek flavor, and something interesting without being so out-there it overshadows it. Actually I think that's an amazing combo and I'm very proud.

Neither is my favorite, but I like Lauren more even if it is dated. I have known multiple Laurens who are around my age, which is a draw back, but they were/are nice people. The name is comfortable, solid, and down to earth.
Hannah is a very soft name. It is breathy and gentle. I like the name for a character and on other people, but I wouldn't use it myself. If I were going to name a sweet and physically delicate saint, I would call her Hannah. For a child that was related to me, Lauren would be a better fit.

I think Hannah is a more appealing name. It's so much sunnier. I'd rather meet a Hannah. Lauren is more, I dunno, it makes me think of someone more shrewd and reserved.
However, if I were naming a daughter I might go with Lauren, just because I have an impression that Hannah is Biblical and I don't fully understand the reference, but Lauren is just laurel, so it feels more comfy for me to use.

I would pick Hannah.
I'm a bit bored by both of them and they feel very 90s at the moment.
But I understand how people can still be in love with 90s names. I like them too, but I like a different set: Caitlin and Megan.
Lauren is not as nice to me because there are so many similar names that were also so so popular. Laurie and Lori in the 60s and 70s, Laura in the 70s and 80s and then Lauren in the 90s and 00s.
Hannah is also super popular but it feels more like its own name (even though it is somewhat similar to Anna, the strong H makes all the difference).
I can also imagine a Lauren to not be particularly nice (not that there aren't nice ones), but Hannahs to me are always nice and friendly and down to earth and the ultimate girl-next-door type (there are probably exceptions too but I haven't met them yet).

Yeah, Laurens do tend to be a bit darker than friendly Hannahs. But Lauras are the weirdest. I can't think of any Laura who doesn't make me feel a bit worried about whether she's going to be able to cope with society. However, Laura is my preferred name out of these three.
Oh, Lauren, definitely. I've always liked it, and have never liked Hannah at all, because Hannah is like unflavored, unsweetened oatmeal.
Lauren Alexis?
Lauren Paige?
Lauren Kathleen?

I'd choose Lauren. Lauren does tend to be the name of really bland people in my experience, but Hannah is one of the blandest names in existence. It puts me to sleep. It's so... Sickeningly wholesome too. I just don't like it.
Lauren Elizabeth is pretty much every Laurens full name. So not that.
Hmm, Lauren Virginia
