Unisex (more)

It feels unisex but goes a bit more towards the masculine side as I know more boys named Alex.
However, I am genuinely so sick and tired of this nickname and wouldn't use it for a boy or a girl.
But Alex is genuinely a name that I wish people would stop using. It has been crazy common since at least the 80s.
I know so many.
Alexander was super common for boys and for girls Alexandra, Alexis, Alexa and Alexandria made the top 100. It needs a good rest. I find it even more tired than Kate and Katie even though these two are at least somewhat pleasant and there aren't also a million boys around with them.
The only one of the Alex-names I still like is Alexa because it isn't that likely to get shortened and Alexis (but I am tired of it).
