It’s okay

I like it. It’s an old lady name that sounds fresh.

I like Max very much for a boy, and Maxine not at all for a girl. No bad associations; just, not as good as Max.

I like it a lot. I used to dislike it but it’s really been growing on me and is one of my top girl names now. Also, Maxine from Stranger Things is one of the best characters.

It's adorable and sexy. I also like Maxime.

I really dislike it because it reminds me of Maxi-Pads and "Aunt Flo"

I think it's butt-ugly. I don't like Max for a boy, it's a dog's or cat's name. And Maxine just sounds like something to spray on cuts and scratches, like Bactine but maximized so it stings even worse.

Lovely. At first I didn't care for it but it has been growing on me.

Love it. A beautiful, feminine name but has the potential cool nickname of Max. It’s also one of my favorites.
