I don't think I've ever known a Polly, of any age. It does feel sort of old, country bumpkin, but also British at the same time? Apparently it dropped off the American Top 1000 in 1978, and it peaked at 221 in 1881. Definitely old fashioned, but names from that era are making comebacks... but I don't personally like it. I do like Poppy.
It reminds me of Polly Pockets. My 6 yo niece has started using this name on dolls when playing and when writing stories because of Polly Pocket lol.
