I want to name my (our) daughter Faith for years now, so I'm biased :) But I like Vera as well (it reminds me of the British detective series). They make a pretty sibling set.

Vera. It's well-known in several countries, softer than Faith, short and sweet.

I love Vera. It's short, to the point but still feminine with a frilly feel. It would be a serious contender if I had a 3rd girl.

Faith is not my thing as much but I like the sound. Faye would be much preferred. Similar sound but not the expectations a name like Faith could bring.

I like Vera, don’t care for Faith.

Since I don't believe in or practise any religion, I'd never use Faith. It would be misleading. Vera, though the meaning is the same, doesn't have the same vibe at all; plus, my mother had a very good friend named Vera who was absolutely delightful!

Both are ok, but prefer Faith more
