1. I’m in the uk and whilst there is someone named Elizabeth in almost every generation of my family I haven’t known many outside my family.
2. Children like to shorten names so I’m not convinced they will always be known by their full name but for most of their lives they likely will be.
3/4. My sister is known as Lizzie and my cousins daughter is known as Beth. Lizzie is I think the most common nn used. I have never known anyone go by Liz. I see Liz as a woman in her 50s or 60s.
5. I would go with the nn Cissie.
6. I don’t find it boring and I love that it’s multigenerational with a whole host of nn.
