Don't like it

I really like both Eleanor and Elinor and I don't think I could say which one is better in my opinion, they are both great but each has a slightly different vibe. I guess I slightly prefer The Scandinavian Ellinor over Elinor, because I came across it before Elinor so Elinor feels a little incomplete in comparison but it's not a huge drawback.
I don't see either of them as bland or dated, just classic. I also love how they can have a lot of nicknames and potentially fit different kinds of personalities.

I pronounce them differently. Eleanor is more like elen-uh in my accent, but Elinor is eh-lin-or. I prefer Eleanor. It doesn’t feel dated or bland to me, I really like it.

For years, I thought it was a family name on both sides; but it turns out that all my Nellie aunts etc were actually named Nellie and not Eleanor, Helen or anything else.

I like Eleanor, I don’t like Elinor at all.

I like Eleanor better, it seems, idk, more complete? Though the variant of the name I prefer / would use is Eleonora. Alienor is lovely too.

I prefer Eleanor because it feels more traditional. Nonetheless, Elinor is underrated.

I think Eleanor will crack the top 10, while Elinor stays at top 150.
