I absolutely love this name. I love the way it sounds, the connection to the poet, and the fact that it sounds either very aristocratic or very “hillbilly”, with almost no in-between. Similar to Clement, another name I love. The contrast interests me.

The trouble is, it’s far from tease-proof. The stigma around virginity that kids and teenagers of every generation have exploited for jokes is just so obvious with this one. If I did use it in real life I’d feel like I had to prep my kid for the inevitable bullying.
