All I can think of is Amber Rose. And yes, I've heard of Bierce, and I know it's a guy name. It's still too Amber Rose! Makes me think of perfumed candles.

I like Ambrose, mostly because of Ambrose Bierce.
It's actually made the charts - 958 in 2019, 820 in 2020. It has the same feeling as Desmond (also gaining in popularity) but it gives off a different vibe. Desmond is a cad, Ambrose is a poet.

I can't help but think of Amber which makes it seem like a girl name. I like it though, as soon as I get over the initial Amber though.
