Remi / Remy
WDYT? Which spelling you prefer? Do you prefer these for a boy or a girl?

I think they're okay for either gender. Remy and Remi could be nicknames for Remedios or Remegio.

Remiel, nn Remi. Boy.It’s nice, but sounds like a nn only.

Obviously I love it, my third DS has Remiel as his mn and we were seriously considering Remi/Remy for a fn, leaning more towards Remi though, as a short version of Remiel. Ultimately, here in Australia the name gets used a lot more for girls than boys unfortunately, so that’s one of the reasons we went with Remiel as his mn. Gorgeous name though, I love it, either spelling works for me. Hate it for a girl, but love the similar sounding Romi / Romy for a girl.

It's a cute nickname. I wouldn't use it as a full name. Of the two I prefer Remi. Remi is unisex, Remy is more masculine. I like Remi as a nickname for Remiel (boy) and Remielle (girl).

Love itThis is my number one favorite boy's name. If I were to have a son tomorrow he'd be named Remy. I'd do everything convince my partner to use the name if he didn't like it lolMy current favorite combo for it is Remy Wesley William, with the two middle names being my dad's name. I'd negotiate on those mns though because my sister used them for her son.But yeah, it's been a favorite for a while but has slowly been inching its way up. I've liked it since I first watched the X-Men animated series and was introduced to the mutant hero Gambit, whose real name is Remy LeBeau.

Remy for a boyI only like Remi if it's short for Remiel or Remigius. I don't like it at all for a girl
