Dagmar
I met an elderly lady today named Dagmar. What do you think of her name?
How do you presume her name is pronounced?
She pronounced her name: DAHG-mahr

It is beautiful name. In our country we use Dáša as a nickname. That is bad.
She named a Danish queen called Dagmar of Danmark. She was born as Markéta Přemyslovna.I pronounced the name DAHG-mahr.

I love Dagmar. It's so glamorous and glossy in a serious, self-contained way. I like that "mar" part a lot, there's something dark about it.I'd say it exactly the way it's written - DAG-marr.

It's a very sexy name. I think I prefer Dagmara, though.

I love Dagmar and as a Dane, I, of course, pronounce it as we do in Denmark, the way it says in the description of it. :)

Dagmar has been on my "Like a lot" list for many years. Previously, I've only liked the Czech pronunciation Dag-mar, but I like that pronunciation, too.

I don't like it

I like it for a character. I say “dag-mar”, “dag” rhymes with “rag”.

I really like the name Dagmar. It’s been on my PNL for a long time now. :)I like all pronunciations I’ve seen (DAG-mar, DAHG-mar, DAK-mar) besides the Danish prn: DOW-mar.
