Said fry-nee. You may have heard as the name of the lead character in Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. I'm rewatching the show now and remembering how much I like the name.
WDYT?

A bit too seductive for a child, but it sounds so fun, and I love Miss Fisher.
I really like this name, and I caught the like of it from the TV series you mentioned, when I saw if for the first time.
I'm glad somebody saw its potential and used it on an engaging character! It's a quirky little name. I love the meaning. And I like the story attached to it - of a courtesan accused of impiety who was acquitted by the judges because she was so beautiful (and therefore a favourite of the gods).
Aw, Phryne's special. I like that it sounds grating but is altogether bright and ebullient. I also love that it was the name of several hetairai.
Phryne Eloise and Phryne Isabella are combos I'm partial to.
